In 1957 few God fearing Muslims from Pakistan and Kashmir with their futuristic thinking and wisdom purchased ‘Hut building and surrounding land’ in Coventry for the purpose of building First Jamia Mosque in the City.
The Islamic Brotherhood was registered 1961 as a none governmental and non political organisation to facilitate the needs of Muslims by constructing a ‘Noor-Ul- Islam Jamia Mosque’ with all essential requirements and accommodations for up to 1000 Namazi congregations and ..

Our Mission Statement :

I must strive to learn the recitation of the Quran with Tajweed, To Understand the Quran with Tafseer and practice it and to teach Quran to the whole world.
To fulfil our mission we are currently working in the following departments
to serve our community and whole Muslim ummah.

Quran Teaching

Quran School classes for all age groups to learn the recitation of the Quran with correct pronunciation ( Monday to Friday 5pm to 7pm)

Nikah service

Nikah service is provided including hall bookings and we are authorised by the Council to register English marriages

Tafseer Classes

Quran with the translation and interpretation or exegesis is held every day after Magrib Prayer which is performed at Sunset time.

Gatherings Held

Gatherings Held throughout the year like monthly gathering which is held first Thursday or every English month and Islamic knowledge delivered covering all aspects of life

We have fully qualified team of Imams to provide counselling and Islamic Rulings ( Fatwas) for every walk of life.
